What would you make a crazy bet on

News, Random Add comments

Yesterday I read this story about a guy who put a £100 bet on when he was 90 that he would live to be 100, so yesterday he picked up his £25,000 payload… and hopefully didn’t step out in front of a bus on the way home.

So today I have been thinking about what I would bet on.

I always thought about betting on the evictee of Big Brother, because I always know which one of those guys is going out. If you bet like £500 on the one who is definitely going and then enough on the other guy (with higher odds) to win your say £510 back… you can’t lose surely? or is that a rookie error?

If you bet enough money on something like the fact you’re going to live until the end of the week every week for the rest of your life you’d be loaded… and that one week you don’t survive… you’ve not lost anything.

What would you bet on? Do you think betting is a losers game… or would you maybe throw all of your money betting on something ridiculous like Colwyn Bay FC getting promoted?

As somebody who has lost a fair whack on sports. Yes it is.

However, Colwyn Bay? Promotion? Money in the bank!

I saw that on the news! Gawd, we must be stuck for current affairs in Australia.

Except we were told it was $250 and he got $60,000!! Exchange rates are funny aren’t they.. Personally if I was you (or me) I’d live in Australia..

Betting is only a losers game if you lose. As I have plastered all over the internet, I am 18 in the semi-near future. Crown Casino will be one of my first stop offs. That is all.

I’m not a big gambler, especially money because I don’t want to waste that, but maybe more on other examples in life x)

I bet on the National that’s it. But I’m so good at it (I’ve picked a placed horse every year for 7 years since I started betting on it) I’m considering becoming a professional gambler when I leave uni
