You may remember a while ago me writing about the lottery being a mugs game… 14 million to one etc. But desperate times and all that, means I am in serious need of some financial gain.
Now being that I am about as lucky as a James Bond villan’s henchman I thought I would put it to the room and let you guys pick my numbers.
According to Derren Brown a good technique for predicting the future is imagining yourself in this case watching the tv in the comfort of your own living room and actually seeing a ball (of the lottery variety… not like footballers in short shorts variety) coming out… and whatever that number is… you tell me.
So if you could all comment one number you think is going to appear and I will use them to win big… obviously I will share all of the wealth with those who helped me win (my parents and gf). Feel free to use the numbers we choose, and you too could be rich beyond your wildest dreams.
Now all I need to do is get 6 people to read this sucker.

And 8 balls are called out. Assuming it’s a division one and not a lotto strike…: Dammit we did this in maths. Some like 45 x 44 x 43 … x 38 all over eight factorial and oh shit… Dammit we learnt how to figure out your actual statistical chance of winning lottery and I’ve forgotten. And that was 3 days ago.

so the final winning number comes courtesy of gf sister, which is 42.

my dad is like a mathmatical genious and has this whole program designed to predict the most likely numbers to come up on the lottery or some shit like that. I don’t get it but sometimes he wins some money. Nothing big obviously, but he swears some day he will. Hah.

Just to update everyone you are all rubbish at choosing numbers, only Debbie’s number came out so all the rest of you are rubbish. I won’t be attempting that again.

The best way to do it is to come up with a syndicate with 49 members. Everybody has a set number 1-49, and 5 other numbers. Instead of matching 6 numbers you only have to match 5. You’re not guarenteed to making 5x £10, but you’ve got very good odds to do so.
