Wednesday night saw the horror of the evil Big Brother takeover begin. I do believe Channel 4 will have me hooked on this programme no matter how much I tell myself I hate it. The person who is really grinding my gears at the moment is the posh conservative voting “there’s this new kind of music it’s called indie”, Emily. What’s that you say… indie? No way, where can I hear me some of that oh wise one? For someone who claims to be uber intelligent that is something pretty moronic to say.
Anyway despite getting me really annoyed, she did provide me with today’s question. Upon entering the house we were told some of the contestants answers to quick fire questions. One of the questions was “what is you favourite word?” and her favourite word was “hoodwink” which really is a good word.
So in another blatant act of plagiarism I ask you all what is your favourite word?
I have many favourite words… is that really geeky I’m not sure… also not bothered. So I like moron. I also really like zealous mainly because it is a z word. I really like tryst too, because it is a nice sounding word and has a nice meaning. I also like uber, which is not an English word, but is still ace. I really overuse the word bizarre, which I used to think was a good word, but now I’m just trying to phase it out of my vocabulary.
I’m sure you guys will like far superior words to me… I am Welsh.

Oh, and Emily is by far the most gorgeous housemate (but I want to do naughty things to the twins!)

I like to call people ‘bastards’ a lot. Too much, actually. I mostly use it with friends, because they know I don’t mean it. On the rare occasion I have used it with strangers and their reactions are very funny.

Cumbersome is a pretty good word, there are lots of others too but it changes depending on my mood.

So funny I happen to read this post because I was just talking about unusually awesome words we’re going to try and bring back into common usage. Words such as, fancy (like I fancy that dress) cats (like those are some cool cats hanging over there) indubitably is my personal favorite.

Dollop. In fact, ‘dollop’ is written as my favourite word on my about page. But I also love the word “juxtaposition”.
