First off let me tell you about this amazing film I went to see last night, The Science of Sleep. It’s directed by Michel Gondry who I absolutely love… and the film is really good, so everyone should go and see it.
Ah you see it would be relevant to speak of dreams on the subject of sleep, but my dream last night was very crap… it was a wasted 6 hours last night. But if you did have a good dream then tell us all about it.
So yes anyway… today what I want to talk about is spending tha big bucks in a 50 cent style. I want to know what is the most expensive thing you have ever bought (excluding your house if you bought that).
I think the most expensive thing I ever bought was my computer followed by a bed. I also bought this DVD player when no one had even heard of DVD players… it might have been before they were even invented. It was the cheapest one on the market and it was made by Wharfedale and it was pretty poor. It cost about £200 and I reckon today it would be that one that costs £15 at tesco… except in size, where it was the equivalent of about 4 of those ones stacked on top of each other.
My previous creative director was telling me that she once bought a pair of boots by some famous designery person which she had wanted for ages, which cost £550. She was living in London at the time and she was getting a taxi home and she was phoning all of her friends to tell them she had just bought these amazing shoes as she was mega excited. she got out of the taxi at home only to realise she was bootless as she had left them in the taxi. She was really pissed off, but that taxi driver received a lot of sex off his wife when he got home.
I read this story about Noel Gallagher buying a house in Spain or somewhere. After a few months he phoned the estate agent to complain about this massive yacht he wanted moving that was spoiling his sea view, only to be told that the yacht was part of the house and he was the owner. You know you’ve got too much money when you’ve bought a massive yacht and you don’t even know it.

Hmmmmmm the most expensive thing I have bought is the holiday i am taking my mum on in June. Egypt baby! I’ve just bought a new 32 inch plasma tv for my new pad too that was pretty pricey. Oh and if I wasn’t good friends with someone who wasn’t good friends with Charles Worthington then my free haircut and colour would’ve cost £260 on Sunday.

Probably my education if that counts but hey I don’t need to pay them back for that just yet so I would say it would have to be my computer and soon to be my SLR camera if I can scrape it together..stupid things cost the earth!

Most expensive thing I’ve ever bought was my 1996 VW Jetta car for $2,300 (american dollars)… lots and lots of moneyyy

A Tiffanys neckless for my sisters 21st set me back $300… but for myself - the most expensive thing I’ve bough.. recently, would be a tank of petrol.
