The return of Big Brother UK

Celebrity, Film & TV Add comments

It feels like it is almost that time of year again where that evil show takes over the 8am to 6am tv schedule of Channel 4 for a few months… why would we want to watch them sleep? Yes you know I’m talking about the Big Brother yo. I am pretty sure the auditioning process is now over and the show will soon be invading our tv’s and our brains, did anyone reading this go and audition? If you did I really want to know about the audition process, how exactly do they filter people out to end up with such “wacky” people “wot aint afraid of confrontation”?

As much as I would love millions of people to watch me pick my nose, scratch my ass, fart and be naked, I feel as though I am lacking in the “wacky” and “confrontational” (not the naked) departments… dang. I think it’s amazing that a complete moron like Jade can make millions from the show because of our z-list celebrity obsession, but I just couldn’t ever do it. I hate the show, but I watch every episode… what’s wrong with me?

So, today I need to know… Has it always been your dream to be a Big Brother contestant? Or is it your worst nightmare?

And today’s bonus question if you were to appear on that show… what is the worst story the press would dig up on you? Would those naked pictures your ex took of you surface on page 3 of the red top tabloids? Or would that time you tripped while doing the hoovering and your trousers and pants fell down and then your dinkle somehow got sucked into the nozzle make the front cover… with pictures?

I’d like to think that the people I have been intimate with and sent topless pics of myself too are decent so wouldn’t sell their stories but you just don’t know what people will do when offered a large sum of cash.

I’ve toyed with the idea of going on BB but I’m far to self concious and I really get down when people don’t like me so it would be my worst nightmare to go in there and have people slagging me off.

I’ve thought about it, because it does seem like an easy way to make a few bob. I don’t know what people would dig up for me (I’m generally pretty boring), I’m sure a certain ex girlfriend (NOT Han, and NOT the first one, the other one) who is a bit of a kook could fabricate something though.

The only other thing I’ve got to fear I suppose is my sense of humour. I’m generally got a sick and horrible sense of humour and would probably say something one minority would find offensive. Kinda in a Jimmy Carr way, rather than a Jim Davidson way. Either way, somebody would probably get offended and call me a racist homophobe etc.

I would hate to be on BB. I need my privacy! And as for the worst press story..well I’m hardly gonna tell the world that here am I?

  4. Natasha Says:

I’ve never watched a Big Brother episode in my life, and I know your thinking.. lie! But I’m totally honest.. I don’t even really know what it is.

But for me, the time is.. to get out there and exercise because summers cominggg. lol that was random.

I thought about big brother a few times, but usually don’t follow through because it’s around exam time and I always put exams before whoring myself out to the genral public. I would still kind of like to go mainly because I study psychology and analysing the people on there would be great fun but I highly doubt I would make it through the interview process because it takes awhile for my crazier side to make it though and that and I have a tendency to go off on one about chavs (99% of the BB population) so they might gang up on me.
The worst story? There may be some kiss and tell or something about the rifts in my family..all very bog standard.

  6. Han Says:

I was worried about what Rhys was going to say about me….

I dunno what BB would bring up about me…I can’t even think of anything!

I’d never go on it, I hate people watching me!

that would be my worst night mare. ever. neurotic that i am those cameras would freak me out! i don’t want people to watch me!

i just spent a night at a hotel and i farted in their bath tub.

  8. Paddy Says:

Oh I’m different. I watch every episode and love it. But hate myself for loving it.

I would win… Well I would have been able to. But they’ve banned adults only now here. And that was my time to shine (you remember.. think back a post).

We start this Sunday! It’s already in the newspapers because one of the contestants has OCD. And last year our Prime Minister wanted it banned after 2 guys got evicted for turkey-slapping the ugly girl.

Mhh, I really don’t like any of those series..
but many of my friends see it and aarrg, I hate it because all they talk about..
Anyways, interesting post, makes me remember that will happen again..
