What is the best TV show of all time

Film & TV Add comments

Last night saw the first screening of a new TV show, Cape Wrath. After a stupendous amount of advertising on Channel 4, I think the show lived up to hype. I get the feeling TV shows are finally getting back to the good old days when shows like the A-Team were first launched.

At the moment TV shows seem really well thought out and there is some genuine talent proposing ideas for TV and not just going for glory on the big screen. With shows like Lost, 24, Heroes and Cape Wroth, as well as the always good TV comedies and documentaries and those shows where they come and criticise your life and then tell you how to make it better, we really are spoilt for choice on TV and people wonder why kids these days are all obese.

Today I want to know 1. if you saw Cape Wroth, what did you think of it? And B. What is your favourite TV show of all time?

It could be absolutely anything… I fear i may not get too many answers, because it’s taken me ages to try and think of mine. There are so many, but I would have to say the TV show I remember being most obsessed about was probably Dark Angel when it first came out. But then I really got stupidly into The OC shamefully and I love 24 and Scrubs and I was obsessed with the A-Team and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers as a child, and who changes the channel when Friends is on… even if you’ve already seen that episode, which you have. It’s an impossible question to answer… but give it a go.

I don’t really have a favourite TV show. I love CSI. I enjoy Home and Away (mainly because there are so many fit guys in it!). OUr house enjoys a bit of Hollyoaks again for the perving matter. I like Holby City because one of my past ‘conquestes’ stars in it and not only was he the best lay I’ve ever had he is also pretty tasty looking. Um, I like Scrubs and Ugly Betty oh and QI with Stephen Fry. But I mainly watch TV programs for the talent. I am hardly ever in to get into things.

2: Doctor Who (old & new)

I am also a big fan of Hollyoaks and Neighbours… Neighbours is far superior to Home and Away.

Did anyone else just think that the boy who didn’t talk was just emo and there was nothing wrong with him?

Didn’t see Cape Wrath but I will check it out next week ’cause it looked good on recap.
I have lots of favourties; new show wise probably Lost, My Name is Earl, Cold Case and Dr Who (new ones). I can’t really say about my all time favourite because my memory is very much stuck on the recent shows.
Neighbours followed by Diagnosis Murder is always a good afternoon of TV though.

All time? That one is hard. A-Team was cool, I would say maybe Knight Rider. I would rather do a top 5 cause it’s hard!

My top 2 cartoons are Thundercats and Voltron.
