A few weeks ago I found myself reading an article about skateboarding, which I was really into at 16. Unfortunately, like most things, because you can’t just pick up a skateboard and be badass at it straight away I didn’t persevere with it. Now I kind of want to do some skateboarding.
The problem is I am far too old to be rubbish at skateboarding. People are understanding if there is like a 3 year old kid who can only just go in a straight line without taking a tumble. If that three year old kid is a fully grown man then jokes will be hurled and feelings will be hurt… just as badly as the grazes on my elbows.
Soooooooo. What do you all wish you had taken up earlier in life?
Oh, I also wish I had learned about web 2.0 before tom from myspace.

I wish I switched to wordpress, had my own hosting and that sort of jazz long before I actually did. It’s so easy now!

I wish I had taken up photography and maybe some webdesign as it would come in mighty handy now.

I wish I had continued rollerblading, taken up ice skating, had singing lessons and stuck with all the sports I did at school. I also wish I had invented velcro.

I really wish I had taken up piano lessons when I was 8. My mother wanted me to take the lessons, but I refused because I thought it was lame. I feel a bit jealous when I see all these talented kids playing the piano beautifully.

Definitely piano. My mom always wanted to me to do piano when I was a kid, but I thought it was just for music geeks. When I see kids or teenagers play such good piano, I can’t help feeling pang of shame hahaha.
